The former Mabel Eliason was born October 24, 1922 in Cornell, Wl., a daughter of the late Adolph and Alama (Olson) Eliason. Mabel attended schools in Chippewa Falls, Wl. On December 14, 1944, Mabel was united in marriage to Laurence Brown at Chippewa Falls, Wl.
For a time while residing in Chicago, III., Mabel was employed at Shure Brothers Co. Mabel was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Laurence; three sons, Richard (Yvonne) Brown, James Brown and , Daniel (Debbie) Brown, all of Sheboygan; two daughters, Mrs. Charlene (Francis) Goettl, of Elkhart Lake, and Mrs Karen (Kenneth) Jacoby, of Sheboygan Falls; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Arnold Eliason, of Chippewa Falls, Wl. and Harold (Dorothy) Eliason, of Schofeild, Wl.; three sisters, Hilda Haskins, of Belgium, Wl.; Amy Schick, of Chippewa Falls; and Marion Fowley, of Alpena, Ml.
Mable was preceded in death by one daughter and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 A.M. at Ramm-Ziegler-Novak-Rettke Funeral Home, South-side Chapel. The Rev. Herbert Stelter, Pastor Emeritus, of Immanuel Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will take place in the Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home, 1535 S. 12th St. on Monday from 9 A.M. until the time of services.
