Abilene - Ora Mae Bruner, 95, died Thursday, November 15, 2007, at Windcrest Alzheimer's Care Center in Abilene.

The graveside service will be 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Neinda Cemetery in Jones County with Rev. Derrell Patterson officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A funeral procession to the cemetery will leave the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Daughter of Martha Eugenia (Powell) and W. P. Autrey, she was born on March 12, 1912, in Coryell County, Texas, where she attended school before moving in 1926 to Abilene and attending Abilene High School. Ora Mae married Horace Bruner in Abilene on June 16, 1946. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Abilene.

Ora Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Horace, on April 19, 1990; her parents; two brothers, Tommy Autrey and Roy Autrey; and a sister, Bertha Williams.

Survivors include a niece, Patricia Atkins and husband, Al, of Christoval, Texas; nephew, William B. Autrey and wife, Barbara, of Granite Shoals, Texas; sister-in-law, Edith Keister of Oklahoma City; special friend, Ruth Cutting of Abilene; four great-nieces and nephews; and eight great-great-nieces and nephews.
