Lynn's ashes were buried with his wife Imogene. They were placed in her coffin. She was buried in the Ferron City Cemetery. This is according to their daughter.VETERAN

WORLD WAR II

Lynn Andrew Wright, age 89, and Imogene Snow Wright, age 86, married for almost 68 years passed away within 48 hours of each other. Lynn left us in the early morning hours of January 15, 2016; and Imogene followed him early in the morning of January 17, 2016, both in Orem, Utah.

Lynn and his twin brother were born July 23, 1926, in the tiny hamlet of Clawson, Utah, to Andrew and Bessie Wright. Imogene was born October 5, 1929, in Castle Dale, Utah, to Glendon and Ida Snow. Lynn and Imogene were married in 1948.

Lynn was a signalman in the United States Navy during World War II and was in Tokyo Bay, Japan the day the official surrender papers were signed. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad in San Bernardino, California, for 35+ years. Imogene was an instructional aid in the Rialto Unified School District for more than 20 years.

For most of their married life, they lived in Rialto, California, retired to St. George, Utah, and recently, moved to Orem, Utah.
They were dedicated parents and fiercely loyal friends. They were the best father and mother a kid could have ever asked for. They were loved and adored by their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lynn and Imogene are survived by their four children: Lynette (Bob) McDaniel of Rialto, California; Peggy (Mark) Swint of Henderson, Nevada; Tami (Rex) Pugmire of Orem, Utah and David (Cheri) Wright of Orem, Utah; 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Keith, Lyle, Doug and Ray; and two sisters, Margie and Ramona. Imogene was preceded by her parents and one sister, Virginia. Their funeral service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 2 p.m. at the Timpview 5th LDS Ward, located at 865 W 1000 N, Orem, Utah. Lynn and Imogene's family will meet with friends Friday evening, January 22, 2016. from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary at 495 S State St. Orem, Utah, and again Saturday, January 23, from 12 to 1:45 at the Timpview 5th LDS Ward.
