John R. Lewis, 58, of Flora passed away at his residence Thursday July 15, 2021. He was Office Manager for W. S. "Red" Hancock Oil Field Construction in Bentonia and of The Methodist Faith.
Survivors include his siblings Stevie and Liz Lewis of Flora with their children; Jana Comeaux, Christa LaRochelle, Paige Luckett, Mel Lewis, and Graysen Lewis, Pattye and Tommy Dunlap pf Clinton with their children; Travis Dunlap and Peyton Dunlap, Frank and Georgia Johnson of Bentonia with their children; Jarett Johnson and Steven "Pudd" Johnson, Allen and Celeste McGregor of Ridgeland with their children; Allen McGregor and John Robert McGregor.
Visitation and funeral services will be at Stricklin King Funeral Home in Yazoo City, Monday, July 19th with visitation starting at 12:30 P.M. until the funeral service at 2:00 P.M. Internment will follow in The Flora City Cemetery. Rev. Scott Carter will officiate.
John's nephews will serve as pallbearers. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are; Elton Richardson, Al Lunsford, Lacy Cohea, and Keith Simmons.
