Hulda Asenath Mahan was born December 13, 1886, at White Rock, Jewell County, Kansas, the daughter of Vanbert and Elizabeth Bonner Mahan, and died September 9, 1985, at Hill Haven Convalescent Hospital, Hemet, California at the age of 98 years, eight months and 25 days.

She was raised in Scandia.

She was baptised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on December 2, 1900, of which she remained a member.

She married Ernest Glendale Beck on September 5, 1906, at Belleville, and to this union three children were born.

She was a nurse in St. Joseph's Hospital.

On April 17, 1957, she married William P. Glenn in Belleville. They lived in Canada. She moved to California in 1965. For the past five years she lived with her daughter in Hemet, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest on May 20, 1954; her husband, William on April 13, 1965.

She leaves her children, Leota Benjamin and Lucille Oliver, both of Hemet, California, Kenneth V. Beck of Seattle, Washington; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 29 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services and interment were held September 20 at Riverview Cemetery, Scandia, conducted by Rev. Lowell Goering.
