Mrs. Ellen McBee, 57, passed away this morning at six o'clock at her home, 727 Wood avenue, Hammond. Although she had been ill for some time, her death was rather sudden.
Mrs. McBee, who had been a resident of Hammond for the past 27 years, leaves to mourn, her husband George, two daughters, Mrs. E. S. Quinn, East Chicago, and Mrs. K. Kouts, Hammond, one grandson, Thomas Quinn, three sisters, Mrs. M. Winterfield, Chicago, Mrs. K. Lee, Chicago, Mrs. W. West, Ireland and one brother, John Moran, Ireland.
The funeral will be held from the home Friday morning, April 30, to All Saints church at 8:00 a.m. and interment at Mt. Olivet cemetery, in Chicago with undertaker Burns in charge.
