Mrs. Myra Fordyce, wife of Alva A. Fordyce, died at their home in East End Waynesburg, Tuesday, June 12, aged 37 years, of complicatins. Mrs. Fordyce was a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Phillip and Elizabeth Secier Metschan and was born in Pittsburgh, October 3, 1889, where she spent her early life. She was a member of the Waynesburg Christian church and was active in church work. Beside her husband and mother, three children, Kenneth, Jean and Alberta, all at home, and one sister, Mrs. Helen Courtwright, of Downey, Idaho, survive.
