Ella Faustine Watts, 85, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.

Funeral services were held 2 PM, Saturday, July 17, 2021, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Glen Fussell officiating. Interment followrd in the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.

Ms. Watts was born January 31, 1936, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late James F. & Olive Merritt Barfield. She had lived in the community for the past 40 years and enjoyed sewing, fishing and she loved arts and crafts. Ms. Watts was a member of Harvest Time Church of God in Douglas, Georgia, where she taught Sunday School.

She is survived by her children: Dianne & Tony Jenkins, Albert Hendrix, Jr., Roger Wayne Hendrix and Angela & David Ring; four grandchildren: Josh & Tanice Griffin, Amber & Joshua Harper, Mason & Randi Jenkins, Ryan & Amelie Jenkins and Casey Chastain; six great-grandchildren: Brandon Olivares, Haylee Jenkins, Kristen Moody, Jacob Harper, Easton Griffin and Blake Chastain. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Haygler and a granddaughter, Cindy Griffin.
