Anne M. Adornato, 87, of North Syracuse , passed away on Friday after a short illness. She was born in Syracuse and was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church, where she was a member of the choir for many years, and also volunteered at the school library. She was a member of the St. Anthony Society and the Legion of Mary. Anne was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed her grandchildren immensely.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Louis F. Adornato; two daughters, Marie (Larry) Koch of Fayetteville and Lou Anne (Bob) Campese of East Syracuse ; three grandchildren, Gina Marie and Bobby Campese, both of East Syracuse and Laura Marie Koch of Fayetteville; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great- nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Funeral services will be conducted 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at PIRRO & SONS FUNERAL HOME and 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Pompei Church. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, 514 Turtle St., Syracuse . The Holy Name Society will recite their ritual on Monday at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
