Anna Marie Williamson, 79, of Liberty, Missouri left to be with the Lord Sunday, October 2, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, MO. She was surrounded by loved ones and departed peacefully. Anna was born April 17, 1937 to Ezra and Rose (Novak) Hunter in Irving, KS. She was the youngest of six children. Anna was a long time resident of Liberty where she lived and worked most of her adult life after a period of relocations with the US Air Force. Anna was a dedicated employee of Wasco Insurance Company.
In her free time, Anna enjoyed spending time with her family, her dog, Willy, and loved to share her spirited stories with everyone. She had a heart for the Lord and shared His love with those around her. She was a light in the dark for many, and will be greatly missed.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents Ezra and Rose Hunter; her siblings, Clema and spouse Melvin Haller, Cloyde and spouse Mary Hunter; Albert, Virgil and Wilbur; and her daughter, Rose Mary (Williamson) Pothier.
The visitation will be held at 10:00 AM at the Raphael Chapel on Friday, October 7, 2016. Her funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 AM.
