Josephine "Josie" Charlotte Sala, 89, of Baltimore, MD, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Seasons Hospice at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born on December 13, 1931, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Joseph and Josephine Roubal Busick.
For many years, Josie worked as a machine operator for McCormick Spice. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus of Baltimore, and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Glyndon.
She is survived by her children: Charlotte Shanley and husband Richard of Kansas, Donna Lazzaro and husband Joe of Baltimore, MD, Charles Sala and wife Stephanie of Indiana, grandchildren: Kristie, William, Billy, John, Donna Jean, Rob, Justin, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Josie was predeceased by her sister: Anna Benny.
The family will receive visitors on Friday, July 16 from 6 – 8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 17 at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 63 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD.
Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery, Reisterstown, MD.
