Mrs. Jean Ann Charlson Good, 82, of La Porte, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, at 9:15 a.m. at Fountainview Terrace Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, La Porte.
She was born June 4, 1925, in Hamlet to Gustave and Laura May (Burlingham) Metzner.

Mrs. Good was a homemaker and has also worked in the laundry department at La Porte Hospital. She was past president of Eagles 2439 in La Porte.

On April 4, 1943, in Chesterton, she married Norman V. Charlson, who died Nov. 23, 1978.

Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Lester; two sisters and four brothers.

Surviving are two daughters, Violet Watts of La Porte and Laurie Kreighbaum of Kingsford Heights; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Cutler Funeral Home, La Porte, with Rev. Hugh Smith officiating. Friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from noon until the service. Burial will be in Burstom Cemetery, Porter.
