George C. Rilk, 56, of 17 Holland Street, city, died Saturday morning shortly after admission to Mercy Hospital.
Born November 1, 1922, in Plymouth, he moved to this city six years ago. He was a member of the First PM Church, Plymouth, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Europe during World War II. Mr. Rilk was last employed by Hill Handbag Co., Forty Fort.
Surviving are his widow, the former Victoria Mackiewicz mother, Mrs. Ann La Rue Tenham, Plymouth; step-father, Al Tenham, Plymouth; son, George Jr., Glen Lyon; daughter, Mrs. Georgia Casey, Allentown, four grandchildren; brothers and sisters; Mrs. Anna Clark, Connecticut; William, Tennessee; Mrs. Alberta Arnott and Mrs. Mary Bickauskas, Plymouth.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 11 from the Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 West Main Street, Plymouth. Rev. Gene Carroll will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Hanover Township. Friends may call Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
