It is with great sadness but with cherished memories that we say goodbye to Mary Ellen Stretch, beloved wife of the late Tom Stretch. Devoted mother of the late Tommy (Linda) and Shannon. Beloved daughter of the late Elizabeth and Frank Kirkham. On August 10th 2014, Mary passed away suddenly with her granddaughter Sherry by her side at the age of 92 at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her daughter-in-law Linda (Grenfell) and grandchildren Sherry (Thomas), the late Kimberly, Laurie, and Stephen. She will be dearly missed by her great-grandchildren Chelsea (Kapil), Josh, Brittany, Kayla, James, and Mitchell. Predeceased by siblings John (Ann), Bill, Toots (Frances), Stella (Rosario), and Alice. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews Bev (Danny), Debbie (Debbie), Tommy (Jen) and Mathew (Kelly). In lieu of flowers donations to the Salvation Army, The Ottawa Humane Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
