Marion W. Lott was born in Salt Lake City August 15, 1865. At the age of 16 he came with his parents to Sevier County and settled in Clear Creek canyon, where he assisted his father in making a home at what is known as the Robinson ranch. At the age of 26 he married Miss Lena Peterson of our city and lived here two years, then moved to Brooklyn where they have since resided. He was the father of thirteen children, nine of whom are living and were present at the funeral services. They are: Mrs. Emma Hutchings and Mrs. Floss Dalton of Monroe, Marion F. Lott of Woodland, Warren Lott of McGill, Nevada and Ruby, Ivy, Mabel, Mildred and Royal of our city. His brothers and sisters are Peter Lott of Joseph, Benn Lott of Clear Creek canyon, Joseph Lott of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Celia Peterson of Canada, Mrs. Harry Baierline of our city and Mrs. Luker of Richfield.
