PLYMOUTH -- Services for Mary June Smart, 68, of 310 Nursery St., who died at 4:26 p.m. Saturday in Holy Cross Parkview Hospital, after an illness, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in St. St. Thomas Episcopal Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in New Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today in the Johnson Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
Mrs. Smart was born June 26, 1917, in Valparaiso. She lived in Plymouth most of her lifetime. On Feb. 27, 1954, in Plymouth, she married Thomas C. Smart. He died Dec. 23, 1978. Surviving are two sons, Terry Boetsma of South Bend and James Smart of Plymouth; three grandchildren; and a sister, Loma Callsen of Plymouth. Mrs. Smart was a member of the Plymouth Moose Lodge. She retired from Holy Cross Parkview Hospital as a nurses' aide.
