On Saturday, July 10, 2021, Clarence Ronald Fink passed away at the age of 75 surrounded by family within his home.

He was a beloved husband, father, brother, Paw Paw, and faithful servant to the Lord. Clarence, most referred to as Bub, was born on January 12, 1946, to Robert and Ethel Fink.

He was one of nine siblings, and family meant the world to him. On July 10, 1965, he married the love of his life, Geraldine Ann Fink. His love for her was without measure, and one was never truly complete without the other. The Lord called him home on their 56th wedding anniversary, so they could celebrate together again. They spent their life together giving constantly to others, serving the Lord, while raising their two beautiful daughters, Christy and Cheri.

Bub was a highly regarded master carpenter and brick mason for nearly 40 years. He found great joy in the simplest of pleasures. He loved partaking in activities such as cooking, carpentry, gardening, and fishing. He will forever be remembered for his humble, kind nature. He represented a quiet strength to all around him and was such an example to others of what it means to be a Godly man.

He was extremely grounded in his faith, and always put great emphasis on his own integrity. Through several health obstacles over the years, his faith never wavered, only strengthened. He started and ended every day giving thanks and recognition to God. He had a great passion for service and spent all his life as an active church and community member. Some of the greatest memories of his life were those spent as a missionary. His passion for mission work took him all around the world, including Paraguay, Honduras, Mexico, and Peru. He truly left a piece of his heart everywhere he went.

Bub is survived and lovingly remembered by his daughters, Christy Fink Eudy (Jody) of Mount Pleasant, and Cheri Fink Hopkins (Matthew) of Concord; grandchildren: Joshua Cameron Eudy, Adam Lane Eudy, Shawn Christopher Hopkins, and Taylor Averette Foley; siblings: Mary Francis Brooks (EJ) of Stanfield, Boyce Ray Fink (Linda) of Concord, Ernest Wayne Fink (Carolyn) of Mount Pleasant, and Tony Morrison Fink (Steve) of Matthews; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Bub is predeceased by his loving parents, Robert Morrison Fink and Ethel Mae Fink; and his siblings: Daphne Rose Fink, Clement Eugene Fink, Robert Wilson Fink, and Peggy Mae Troutman.

We invite you to join us and celebrate the beautiful life Bub lived. Bub's Life Celebration will take place on Wednesday, July 14th, 2021, at 2:30 p.m., at Bethel Baptist Church of Locust, 617 Bethel Church Rd, Locust, NC 28097. The service will be officiated by Pastor Brian Bolding. Prior to the service, visitation and receiving of the family will begin at 1:00 p.m.. Graveside services will follow at the Bethel Church of Locust Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Missions Fund.
