Coral L. Edin, age 95 of Bellingham passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 23, 2007. She was born on May 16, 1912 in Burke County, ND to William and Lillie (Franks) McGillivray. Coral moved to Whatcom County in 1937 and married Ray Edin in 1940.
She is survived by son, Rodney (Virginia) Edin; daughter, Jean (Jack) Lochbaum; four grandchildren, Eric Edin, Mandy (Mike) Hadeen, Andrea (John) Olmstead and Amy Lochbaum; five great-grandchildren, Kyle and Kaitlyn Hadeen, Jake and Amy Jo Kiser; and Willow Olmstead; sisters, Gladys Bunker and Jessie (Keith) Ahrens; sisters-in-law, Evelyn McGillivray, Mary Edin and Leta Day; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services are scheduled on Monday, October 29, 2007 with visitation from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at Moles Funeral Home Ferndale Chapel, 2039 Main St., a graveside service at 1:00 PM at Greenacres Memorial Park, and a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM back at Moles-Ferndale.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Whatcom Hospice, 800 E. Chestnut, Suite 1-C, Bellingham, WA 98225.
