Mrs. Gertrude (Garvey) Airo, of Teaneck, New Jersey, born on November 22, 1923 in West New York, New Jersey, and passed away at age 94 on April 12, 2018 in Port St Lucie, Florida.
Gertrude graduated from Misericordia School of Nursing and Jersey City State College. From 1944 to 1945, Gertrude served as a nurse in the Army in World War II.
Gertrude was married to the late William Airo. She is survived by her sons, William Airo and James Airo; daughter, Kathleen Jones; and grandchildren, Joseph Buczynski, Noelle Airo, Renee Airo, Brittany Broda, and Ryan Airo.
