On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, Carol Ann McCray, loving mother of 3 and grandmother of 7, passed away at the age of 59 after a short battle with lung cancer.

Carol was born December 17, 1960 in Fort Wayne, IN to Charles W and Elizabeth J (Tomlinson) Balbaugh. She worked many jobs and touched many lives. She became a homemaker when her children were born. On June 18,1988 she married Robert Bruce McCray. Together they had 3 children, Aaron (AC), Elizabeth (Libby) and Samuel (Sam)

Carol loved to make flower arrangements and decorate cakes. The flower arrangements she made were used in churches she attended. She loved the band KISS. In 2011, she finally got to meet her favorite member of the band, Paul Stanley. She collected as much memorabilia that she could afford to. She sailed on the KISS Kruise in 2011 and again in 2013. She loved animals, especially her dogs.

Carol was preceded in death by her grandfather Joe, grandmother Mildred, mother Elizabeth, father Charles, grandson Ash, and husband Robert. She is survived by 2 brothers, a sister, many nieces, nephews and cousins, her children, AC, Libby, and Sam, and 6 grandchildren, Rebekah, Erik, Shawn, Oliver, Victor and Autumn.
