James Robert Cody, 59, of Williamson, Georgia, passed away on July 2, 2021. Mr. Cody was born in Griffin, GA to the late Ray B. Cody and Clara Chambers Cody. He was the president and owner of Interceptor Public Safety Products. Mr. Cody was an avid deer hunter and loved fishing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Mr. Cody was preceded in death by his brother, Greg Cody.

Survivors include his loving wife of 29 years, Leslie D. Cody; son, Josh Huff; daughter, Brandy Bass (Mitchell); grandchildren, Erin Bass and Nolan Bass; sisters, Cindy Thompson (Carl), and Nancy Bankston (Stephen); sister in laws, Ruth Cody and Marcia Nichols (Randy); brother in law, Mark DuBuisson; nieces, Kathleen Greeson and Olivia Bankston; nephews, Will Cole, Ben Cole, Joshua Thompson, Joel Thompson, and Andrew Bankston; as well as extended family and friends. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at a later date.
