William Sidney Camden (23 Aug 1843-12 May 1938. He was the son of John Duncan Camden and Mary F. Davenport. He married Letitia Black Hight. Sidney enlisted in Lamkins-Rives Light Artillery Battery in 1861 and was at Appomatox when General Lee surrendered. He was shot in the head in Petersburg shortly before the battle of the Crater and was admitted to Chimborazo Hospital in Richmond on August 14, 1864. He stayed there for two weeks and then rejoined his unit. He lived to be 94 years old! - Sylvia Camden Ray
