Anna Bea was born in Kansas and came to Omaha in 1960 to teach school and play in the Omaha Symphony. There she met her husband, Gene, also a musician and a teacher.
Together, they built a life making music, teaching young people the craft, and promoting music and musicians.
Anna Bea was honored to serve on the Omaha Musicians Union Board for years.
She was devoted to her family and many friends.
