Dorsey L Beers, of 308 South 9th St, died at 2:30am today at Good Samaritan Hospital at the age of 67 years, 7 months, 13 days. He was a retired Lineman with the Illinois Power Company. Burial in the U.S. Military Cemetery at Mounds, IL. Mr Beers was born May 27, 1894 in Lincoln, NE, the son of John Henry and Ella Lezotte Beers. He was married to Doris Briggs, who survives. Also survived by daughter, Mrs Gloria Mae Adams of Harrisburg. Brother, Glen E Beers of Ft Mead, SD. Mr Beers was a member of the Central Church of Christ and a Veteran of World War l.
