Charles Franklin Williams was born on January 19, 1873 in Franklin, Tennessee, the son of Marion Williams and Louise "Lou" (Harrison) Williams. and was educated in Nashville schools.

He was married about 1927 to Nora Giles of Chapel Hill and was a 32nd degree Mason, a Shriner and a past patron of Buena Vista Chapter of The order of the Eastern Star.

Retired personnel and supply manager for Davidson County Tuberculosis Hospital and living at 2106 North Hamilton Road in rural Nashville, Charles was 89 years old and married when he died of arteriosclerosis on August 17, 1962 at Davidson County Hospital, where he had been for almost seven months.

Survivors included his widow Nora, daughter Mrs Elsie Jackson of Nashville, stepdaughter Mrs Albert Manss of Nashville, a granddaughter, a step-granddaughter and four great-granddaughters.

Funeral Services were held at Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on August 18th, and burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Nashville.
