Mildred Evelyn Ardell Adams, 75 of Atkins, Arkansas, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at her home in Atkins, Arkansas. She was born March 23, 1946 in Elaine, AR to Charlie & Maudie Mae Scroggins Scercy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chesley Adams; her parents; son, Chesley "Lee" Adams; great-granddaughter, Charlea Erdelyi; siblings, Franklin Scercy, Clara Sexton, Junior Scercy, Edna Harris, Minnie Thompson, Thomas Scercy.
Mildred was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved yard sales and junking. Her children have several stories to share about their experiences taking her to yard sales.
She is survived by her children, Charles Adams of Atkins, Rita Adams of Dover, Cecil & Teresa Adams of Hector, Marilyn & Jerry Polk of Atkins, Beverly & Jimmy Duvall of Atkins, Angela & Scott McKinley of Atkins, Heather Adams of Russellville, Nick & Meagan Adams of Atkins; her sister, Geneva Engles of Dover; her adopted daughter & husband, Charlie & Randy Millikin; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren & numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Let's not forget her loving boxer dog, Roscoe.
