Bertie "Irene" Bryant, age 75, of Neosho passed away on Saturday, June 26th, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin. She was born January 27th, 1946 in Hayden, Colorado to Alvin Hugh Bryant and Dessie Everman (Bryant).

Irene mostly grew up in Oklahoma, having lived in Iowa, and moving to northwest Arkansas for 15 years before moving in with her niece Lara Ames in Neosho. She enjoyed crafting, caring for her cat, working puzzles, watching westerns such as Bonanza and Gunsmoke, and the time she shared doing activities with friends at the Meadows where she stayed for a time.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Alvin and Dessie, and her sister; Sharon Carter.

Irene is survived by her sister; Bea Eichman of Conway, Arkansas, five nieces and nephews; Don Carter, Alan Carter, Monika Grundman, Lara Ames, and Erika Eichman, and four grand-nephews; Keith Bryant, Austin Carter, Ryan Ames, and Christopher Ames.
