Charles Aaron Martin, 67, of Texarkana passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2007 in Texarkana. Mr. Martin was born March 11, 1940 in Houston, Mississippi to the late Jim Martin and the late Ethel Griffin Martin.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Glenda Sellers Martin of Texarkana; a son, Jesse Martin of Memphis, Tennessee; a daughter, Mindy Brocato and husband, Nick, of Texarkana; granddaughters, Christy Martin and Jennifer Martin of West Helena, and Peyton Brocato of Texarkana; grandson, Griffin Brocato of Texarkana; sisters, Louise Hill and husband, David, of Nettleton, Mississippi, Jimmie Wages and husband, Charles, of West Helena, and Rita Buford and husband, Thomas, of West Helena; brothers, Johnny Martin and wife, Peggy, of West Helena and Mack Martin of Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services for Mr. Martinwere held at Roller-Citizens. Burial was at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Rev. Austin Hamilton and Reverend Rodger Hooker officiated.
Pallbearers were; Michael Buford, Adam Buford, Jonathan Martin, Randy Wages, Sandy Wages, Jeff Wages, Mike Wages, Pete Hill and Steve Hill.
Honorary pallbearers were; members of the coffee club at August Moon Restaurant.
