Michael Wayne Taylor, 63, of Apex, died Sunday, April 29, 2018 at WakeMed in Apex.
Michael was born December 23, 1954 in South Williamson, KY to the late Keith B. and Mary Jane Gardner Taylor. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky School of Pharmacy and the University of North Carolina Kenan Flagler School of Business. Michael was a practicing pharmacist for over 38 years most recently at Duke's Lincoln Regional Clinic. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church in Cary.
Michael is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ruth Laferty Taylor; sister, Victoria True; brothers, Kenneth Lee Taylor, William Martin Taylor (Irene); and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 1-2pm Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Westwood Baptist Church, 200 Westhigh Street, Cary, NC 27513 with a service to follow at 2pm. Burial will follow the service at Wake Memorial Park.
