Junior Lee Taylor, 68, of Parkersburg went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2007, at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
He was born Sept. 28, 1938, in Eureka, W.Va., a son of the late William and Zelma Malone Taylor. He was retired from the Blennerhassett Hotel and was a member of the Camden Avenue Church of Christ.
He is survived by one brother, Patrick Ernest Taylor of Belmont, W.Va. He made his home with his niece, Mary Caplinger and her husband, Harvey Sr., of Parkersburg; and was survived by several other nieces and nephews, Darlene St. Peter, Ernest Taylor, Junior Taylor, Mary Jo Gasper, Patrick Taylor Jr., Danny Taylor, Darlene McClahan, Barbara Owens, Susie Taylor, Linda Hooper, Janet Bradley, Mike Taylor and Ray Taylor; and several great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Earl, Raymond, Daniel, Amos and Frank; and one sister, Mary (Hackathorn) Williams.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., south Parkersburg, with Dana Slingluff officiating. Burial will follow in Willow Island Cemetery, Belmont. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home
