Adelaide Fox Carew departed her good life on November 12, 2006 and has gone on to heaven. Adelaide was born July 12, 1911 in St. Paul, Minnesota to the late Ralph Fox and Ruth Bucklin Fox. She attended St. Andrew's Church for about 40 years before she became ill. Preceding her in death was her husband of 62 years, Coppins Carew Sr. They were blessed with four children, Coppins Jr., Juanita, Gertrude and Joaquin Sr. They were lifelong residents of Grand Rapids, MI. They were the grandparents of 29 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Adelaide enjoyed working in her flower beds and hosting family gatherings especially on Thanksgiving. We will miss her caring ways.
