Irene of North Falmouth and formerly of West Newton, passed away on Sunday, May 16th at home. A daughter of Vincenzo Todero and Marie Rigoli, she grew up in Waltham and after graduating, she went on to marry her devoted husband of 57 years "Sonny," Philip Astone. They raised four children in West Newton. After retiring from Newton South High School, she and her husband moved to North Falmouth.
Irene is survived by her four children as well as her nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
