It is with profound sadness, that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and nana on September 18, 2012. Andy was in her 90th year. Dearest and most loving wife for 69 years to the late Paul. Andy was the daughter of the late Ephrem and Elizabeth Lamothe. Sister of the late Maurice, Wilfred, Rita, Patsy Moretin , and Claire Lelievre. Sister-in-law of Neil Paolini (Pat) of Toronto and Edna Lamothe of Edmonton. Cherished by her children, Paul (Lucille), late Michael, late Joey, Louise Oak (Tom), Bill (Jane) of Winnipeg, Bob of Hamilton, and Tina Stewart (Randy). Much loved nana of 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, all of whom were able to make time to keep in touch with her, enjoy her company and will forever hold warm and happy memories of times spent with their nana and GiGi. She will be missed by her many loving nieces and nephews, as well as her friends. She will be fondly remembered by Jane and Anna for her loving devotedness to them. Her greatest joys were her family, cooking and baking for them and for anyone in need. She loved sharing stories of her childhood summers at Sand Lake, and of travelling on the ACR with her family. We were all so blessed to have had her with us for as long as we did. We want to take this opportunity to send our most sincere gratitude to all the staff at the Extendicare Van Daele that had any part in caring for Andy, especially those on the second floor. All of you brought much joy to her with your kindness, patience and professionalism, always treating her with respect and affording her the dignity that is so wanted by all. Loreena and all management team; from the beginning you made the journey for our family as painless as possible and for that we are all grateful. Funeral service to be celebrated from the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 2 pm. Father Pat Woods officiating.
