Colette spent most of her life on the farm working along side her 6 brothers, driving the wheat truck, fixing meals, doing household chores, sewing, and quilting. As the years went on and health problems came up, she cared for her parents and brothers.
She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, St Ann's Altar Society, a charter member of the Salina Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, and Tipton Senior Center. She was also very active in The Tipton Schools activities and was always ready to help in any way possible.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Raymond (Lizzie), Lawrence (Tillie), Silverius, Aloysius (Carol), James, Charles, and Clement who died in infancy. Nephew Donnie (Judy), Niece Sharmell, great great niece Karrissa Tatro, and nephew William Hall. She is survived by 10 nieces and nephews and their spouses, 19 great nieces and nephews and spouses, 37 great great nieces and nephews and spouses, and 7 great great great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life at St Boniface church was officiated by Father Daryl Olmstead and Father Joseph Asirvatham, Monday June 21, 2021. Shelly Murrow was organist and Lexi Thomas was songleader/soloist for the service. Pallbearers were Trevor Arnoldy, Lonnie Pahls, Zachary Lomasney, Nathan Arnoldy, Loren Pahls and Kaden Barker. The lector was Casey Weisel and LEM was Adrian Arnoldy. Burial was at St Boniface Cemetery, Tipton, KS. Memorial may be given to Tipton Schools in care of Domoney Funeral Home, PO Box 127, Downs, KS 67437.
