Jimmie R. Dugard, 71, passed away at his home in Sellersburg on Saturday, June 26, 2021. He was born to the late John and Mary Dugard (Gramlin) on January 14, 1950 in Glasgow, Kentucky. Jimmie worked for Henry Vogt Machine Company of Louisville until its closing. He later retired from Cutting Tools Inc. of Louisville, Kentucky. Jimmie could always be found "tinkering" around the house, doing lawn work and picking up sticks. He thoroughly enjoyed helping his neighbors with their yard chores as well. Jimmie was a member of the Northside Christian Church of New Albany.

Survivors include his son, Michael Dugard of Seymour, Indiana, his daughter, Laura Dugard (Donald) of Sellersburg, his brothers, James Dugard (Pauline) of Jeffersonville, Clifton Richard Dugard (Doris) of Greenville and his sister, Janet Johnson of Gallatin, Tennessee. Jimmie also leaves behind two grandchildren, Donovan and Mason Dugard and one great-great grandchild, Sophia Cook to cherish his memory.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at the Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00.
