Ernest Kinley Green, age 60 of Cumberland Furnace, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 at his residence.
Celebration of Life will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
A Masonic Service will be held at 7pm on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.
Ernest entered this life on September 12, 1960 in Houston County, TN to the late Herbert and Pokey Green. He was a Rural Letter Courier for the US Postal Service for 17 years. Ernest was also a Veteran of The United States Army and a member of Camp Masonic Lodge # 445. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wood working.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Larry Green.
Survivors include his wife, Lori Ann Self Green; children, Jesse (Joanna) Ferrell, Amber (Kendall) Lampley, and Joseph (Miranda) Green, siblings, James Green, Linda Holley, and Margie Johnson, and grandchildren, Emma Ferrell, Mattie Sandifer, Bilee Ferrell, Cooper Green, Charlie Green, Jase Ferrell, and Milleigh Lampley.
Pallbearers will be Hawk Wingate, Jerry Jarman, Derrick Lee, J.J. Johnson, Aaron Green, Darren Green, Joseph Calhoun, and Josh Silver.
