Salem Statesman Journal, Friday, Jun 15 1973:

Molalla -- Wayne K. Morland, 69, of Rt. 2 Box 270 A, Molalla, died of cancer Thursday in a Silverton hospital. He was born in Woodburn.


He grew up in Woodburn, came to Molalla from Forest Grove, lived here 23 years. He operated Cedardale Store from 1950 to 1962, and later worked for Molalla Hardware Co.


Surviving are his wife, Mildred; son William of Molalla; and two grandchildren.


Services will be at 1 pm Saturday at Everhart & Kent. Interment will be in Adams Cemetery.

Corvallis Gazette-Times, Monday, Sep 24 1928:

A marriage license was issued Saturday afternoon from the county clerks' office to Kenneth W. Moreland of Glenwood, WA, and Mildred King of Summit. The bride is but 16, and the couple were accompanied to Corvallis by Miss King's mother, Mrs. Aurelia Daniels, who gave her consent to the marriage.
