Lillian May Jones, 83, of Modesto, died in her home yesterday after a long illness.
Born in California, she had been a resident of Modesto since 1914. She had worked as a seamstress.
Survivors include a son, Col. William C. Jones of the US Air Force & four grandchildren and two grandchildren [sic].
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in the Geneva Presbyterian Church. Funeral services were private & interment will be in the Merced Cemetery.
