She passed away while visiting her daughter in Las Vegas, NV.She graduated from Clayton High School, Clayton, NM in 1958. She married Howard L. Smith on September 12, 1958, in Clayton. He preceded her in death on October 27, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Levinio and Carolina Romero Lovato, one sister Helen Lovato of Roy, NM.
She is survived by two daughters, Rita Smith of Las Vegas, NV., Virginia Smith of Roy, NM. and one son Donald Smith of Santa Rosa, CA.
