Helen was the daughter of Willis A. Stinnett and Mary Bell (Taylor) Stinnett.

Helen and John Leonard McDaniel were married April 2, 1937 in Tarrant County, Texas. They had one son. They later divorced.

Helen later married Ed Allen on January 15, 1940 in Ada, Oklahoma. They had three children.

The beautiful picture of Helen was sent to me by her daughter-in-law, Nadene. Thank you Nadene. The picture of her headstone was added by the dirtdauber, and the McGee Cemetery sign was added by G. William Whitworth, Jr. Thanks alot you two.

Helen was of the Church of Christ faith.

HELEN JUANITA ALLEN

Funeral services for Helen Juanita Allen were held Wednesday
February 5, 2003 at the Church of Christ in Stratford, officiated by Cole Tidwell with Bill Jones assisting. Burial followed at the McGee Cemetery, under the direction of Pickard Funeral Home, Stratford, Oklahoma.

Serving as pallbearers were Rickey Bryan, Gary Bryan, Justin Lee, Barry Burkhart, Santee Wade, Mark Allen and DeWayne Allen.

Helen Juanita Allen, a resident of Stratford, was born May 12, 1918 in Stratford, Oklahoma. to Willis A. and Mary B. (Taylor) Stinnett. She passed away February 3, 2003 at Stratford at the age of 84 years.

Helen married Ed Allen at Ada, Oklahoma on January 15, 1940. She was a nurse for 25 years at the Stratford Nursing Home. Helen lived in Stratford all of her life and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, David and Nadene Allen of Stratford; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy and David Bryan of Stratford, and Debbie and Kenny Jackson of Milpitas, California; one sister, Buena Reed of Stratford;l one daughter-in-law, Gerri Allen, of San Angelo, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, one great-great grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Allen, in July 1967; and a son, Don Allen, in March 2002.
