Mr. Leonard Daniel Burrier, 79, of 7512 Sundays Lane, Frederick, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 1993 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Pauline Elizabeth Cutsail Burrier.
Born February 1914 in Walkersville, he was a son of the late Daniel Luther and Willanna Lightner Burrier.
For most of his life he farmed in the Frederick County area. He had worked at Genstar of Frederick.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Luther W. Burrier and fiancee Ethelene K. Rice of Frederick; two daughters, Eva Elizabeth Bruder and husband David W. of Cascade and Minnie Violet Gregorowicz and husband Martin J. of Bloomfield, N.J.; four brothers, James Burrier of Salem, Va., Lester Burrier of Lewistown, Raymond Burrier of Frederick and Roland Burrier of Fort Collins, Colo.; a sister, Eleanor Grace Ritter of Walkersville; four grandchildren, Lee May, Marty Gregorowicz IV, Penny Gregorowicz and Michael Gregorowicz; a great-granddaughter, Myranda Leigh May; and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Burrier was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Cutsail Wetzel, Daisy Gesinger and Catherine Burrier.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 2, 1993 in the Etchison Memorial Chapel of the funeral home. The Rev. Robert S. Edmondson, pastor of the Hawley Memorial Presbyterian Church, Blue Ridge Summit, Pa., will officiate.
Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Frederick.
