Obituary:
Services for E.L. "Mac" McDaniel, 77, 320 W. 13th, will be 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Criswell Funeral home, with the Rev. John Keith conducting rites. Burial will be in Memorial Park. Mr. McDaniel died today in a local hospital. He was born, March 29, 1903, in Irving, Texas to Clem and Leona Woodruff McDaniel and moved to Ada about 1926 from Madill. He retired in 1965 and 35 years with Bennett Van and Storage as a truck driver. On Nov. 3, 1931, he and Flossie Burns were married in Konawa. He was a member of the Evangelistic Temple. Survivors include his wife, Flossie, of the home; one brother, Delbert, Oklahoma City, and one sister, Early Mae Brown, Ada. Bearers will be Mike Myers, Ronnie Myers, Mark Todd, Eddie Cornish, Alvis McDaniel, and Jack Kroth.
