SHERIDAN - Former Sheridan resident Alverda Emma Landon Robson of Pleasant Grove, Utah, died Sept. 24. She was 87.

Mrs. Robson was born on Oct. 26, 1909, in Holbrook, Idaho, to James and Amanda Sorenson Landon. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

On May 15, 1928, she married Fred Robson in Blackfoot, Idaho.

They lived in several communities, including Salmon, Idaho, Superior, Missoula, Deer Lodge, and Hamilton before retiring to Sheridan in 1971.

She enjoyed crocheting, quilting, gardening and cooking.

Preceding her death were her husband, Fred; daughters, Betty Robson and Janet Studebaker, son, Dean; six brothers and one sister.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Kent and Carolyn Robson of Midvale, Utah, and John Scott and Coreen Robson of Helena; son-in-law, Harold Studebaker of Rexburg, Idaho; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sheridan with Bishop Dawes Lott officiating Burial will be in the Sheridan Cemetery.

K&L Mortuaries in Sheridan is handling arrangements.
