She was the 2nd to last "real daughter" of the American Revolution to pass away. Her father was Captain Solomon TUTTLE. He died in Athens, Ohio in 1830.

In 1904, Cyrena was living with her daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Dr. William T. JEFFRYES in Arvada, Jefferson Co., CO. Alice died after a carriage accident. Instead of staying with her son-in-law Dr. JEFFRYES, she moved to Altus, OK to live with her son William Durand WOODS.
