Abilio Henriques, 71, 209 Cogswell Ave., Solvay, died Sept. 14 while on vacation in Portugal. Born in Portugal, Mr. Henriques lived in Solvay 54 years. He was owner and proprietor of Henrique's Grocery Store on Cogswell Ave for more than 40 years. Mr. Henriques was a liaison for many Portuguese who came to Central New York area. He was a communicant of St. Cecelia's Church, Solvay, member of Solvay Portuguese Club and the Vasco da Gama Club. Services and burial were in Portugal.
