Freddie Fink of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 in her son's home. Her funeral will be graveside at 3 PM on Monday, June 21, 2021 at Saint Stephen's Wesleyan Church Cemetery with Rev. Jody Wetta officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday at Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Locust from 12:30 until 2:30 PM.
Born August 18, 1945 in Cabarrus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Hermon Roscoe Griffin and Hazel Virginia Kiker Griffin. She was a member of Berea Baptist Church in Stanfield. She was a former employee of Cannon Mills and retired from Phillip Morris.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fink was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clement Eugene Fink, brothers Buck Griffin, J. T. Griffin, and Larry Griffin and sisters Ruby Kiker and Evelyn Hatley. Survivors include sons Rex Allan Voncannon and wife Jennifer of Oakboro, and Robbie Dale Voncannon and wife Candy of Stanfield, sister Helen Huneycutt of Locust, grandchildren Brittany Hartsell, Victoria Voncannon, Olivia Voncannon and Rosie Voncannon, great-grandchildren Chase Hartsell, Paisley Hartsell, Sage Hartsell and Zoie Stegall.
