George E. Anderson, age 78 of Edwards, Missouri passed away June 13, 2021 with both his daughters at his bedside. He was born May 21, 1943, son of Arthur Monroe Anderson and Mary Kathleen Wingfield. He is survived by one sister, Celesta Penry, three brothers, Jon Anderson, Mickey Wilsey, KC Wilsey, two daughters, Kalyn Schneider, Kalie Anderson, one step-daughter, Ashley Myers-Collins, five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. George served in the Armed Forces, was in the Teamster Union all his life and ran for the position of President of the local union in California. He was an over the road truck driver and retired from Yellow Freight where he then moved to the Lake of the Ozarks, bought and opened Georges Jungle Bar that is now a major part of the community. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Jungle Bar and Grill located at 30786 Forthview Rd., Edwards, MO 65326 on June 26, 2021 at approximately 5:00 pm proceeding a private closed family ceremony at Mossy Cemetery.
