Grover C. Houke, 80, of 6064 West Central Ave., a retired painter, died yesterday in Maumee Valley Hospital.
Mr. Houke was born in Williamsport, Pa., and lived in Toledo 22 years. He was a member of Painters and Decorators Union, Local 7.
He leaves his widow, Mary; brothers, Cloyd, of Lambertville, Mich., and Merle, of Toledo, and a sister, Mrs. Lessie Welshans, Toledo.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Reeb Mortuary, Sylvania, with burial in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
