Mr. William Truitt Coleman, 92, went home to be with the Lord on June 15, 2021 following a lengthy illness at Southland Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. Mr. Coleman was born December 15, 1928, the oldest of three children born to Mary Ethel Wyatt and Joseph Henry Coleman. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bernice Barwick Coleman, of 50 years; and stepson, Eddie Pullen. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Dublin Memorial Gardens, at 10:00 AM. Reverend Chuck Bush will officiate.

Mr. Coleman was a member of The Resurrection Assembly of God Church in East Dublin where he was a faithful member. He was always available and willingly volunteered to accomplish various tasks at the church according to his expertise and ability. He loved the Lord and displayed that affection and compassion to anyone in need. He retired from Biljo, Inc. and Dublin Piggly Wiggly to become the primary caretaker for his wife until she went home to be with the Lord. He never missed an opportunity to witness for his Lord and Savior and he looked forward to going to his Heavenly home.

He is survived by his daughters; Wanda Carter, and Sandra (Joel) Chue; stepdaughter, Joann (Charlie) Bush; stepsons, Gary and Terry (Liz) Pullen; siblings, Willard Wayne Coleman and Betty Coleman Brown; grandchildren, Jennifer Davidson, Julie (Anthony) Angulo, Sean and Chuck Bush, Kim Carlisle and Chris Pullen, and Angela Hastings and Michelle Downey; 10 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

A special thank you goes to the wonderful staff of Southland Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility for their wonderful care and keeping of the man that we called father, brother, and friend.
