He married Joyce Wilcox in 1938, and they moved to Valleyford, Washington, where he was a farmer.
Mr. Klawunder served in the Army during World War II.
He was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1435 and the Disabled American Veterans.
His wife preceded him in death.
Survivors include sons, Larry and Kenneth Klawunder; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
